Brio Publishing is offering an expanded edition of the renowned Benezit Dictionary of Artists, which has for years been highly valued by auction houses, gallery owners, antiquarian booksellers, and other people in the art business, as well as connoisseurs, collectors, and art lovers. A team of 150 professionals spent more than five years revising the original edition that is today considered a classic reference work. Comprising about 20,000 pages, its 14 volumes contain more than 170,000 names, including several thousand new pieces of information since the last edition in 1999. In 2006, an English language edition was published for the first time.
